NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom caught up with the four winning NHRA Summernationals crew chiefs after a very hot weekend of racing in Englishtown.

Rick Jones, crew chief for Erica Enders’ NHRA New England Nationals-winning Pro Stocker, checked in via Skype with NHRA’s Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about his team’s big weekend. Dickie Venables, crew chief for Funny Car winner Matt Hagan, and Brian Husen for Top Fuel champ Brittany Force, also discussed their victories.

Dave Connolly joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about Tanner Gray’s recent Pro Stock win at the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals in Topeka. Bloom also interviewed the winning crew chiefs in Top Fuel and Funny Car, Brian Corradi and Rahn Tobler.

White Alligator Racing crew chief Tim Kulungian joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio via Skype delivered by Papa John’s to discuss the team’s recent wins at the Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte and the Lucas Oil NHRA Southern Nationals in Atlanta. 

NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom caught up with Rahn Tobler, crew chief for Ron Capps, after his big Funny car win last weekend at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte, as well as Bobby Lagana, co-crew chief for Top Fuel winner Steve Torrence. 

Pro Stock icon Warren Johnson joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about this past weekend’s NHRA SpringNationals. 

In this week’s Crew Chief Confidential, NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom caught up with Dave Connolly, John Collins. and Brian Corradi, the three winning crew chiefs from the Denso Spark Plugs Nationals. 

Many times throughout the season, teams will stay after the completion of an NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event to test on Monday, a gathering commonly called the “Monday Nationals” by the teams. NHRA’s Lewis Bloom checked in with a number of crew chiefs testing Monday at Gainesville Raceway to ask about their weekends and the reason for their testing.
