Holley and the NHRA are set to host a Sportsman racer appreciation event during the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Division 2 event at Gainesville Raceway.

Racers, crew, and family will be invited to enjoy a complimentary dinner on Wednesday, March 11 from 6-8 p.m. in the Top Eliminator Club, at the conclusion of testing for the annual Baby Gators event.

An expansion of last year’s Sportsman welcome party, Holley will provide dinner for those who choose to attend, along with the opportunity to win prizes from Holley and its sister brands.

Additionally, Laris Motorsports Insurance returns to support a limited-hosted bar, while Florida-based Right Trailers is set to send everyone back to the pits happy with dessert from a local ice cream truck.

The event marks an expansion of the relationship between Holley and the NHRA, supporting Sportsman racers in a variety of ways in 2026.

Previously, Holley announced a new bonus program at national events in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. The Best Losing Package presented by Holley will be awarded at each national event in the opening round in Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Super Stock, and Stock to the car that makes the best mathematical run relative to its index/dial-in and reaction time in a losing effort. The racers unlucky enough to capture this award will earn a cash bonus for their efforts.

The Holley EFI Never Rest Award will continue to take place in 2026 as well, honoring racers who overcome adversity to compete and perform at NHRA national events across the country.

“We’re excited to work with NHRA on this partnership. It’s our goal to continue to build relationships and create programs that give back to the Sportsman racers,” said Dan Waters, Holley Senior Director, Safety & Racing. “We wanted to be creative with these programs, and we look forward to working with the Sportsman competitors next season.”

As an industry leader in fuel-system design, Holley has established itself as a premier brand for decades. Its market-leading Holley EFI products help deliver standout performance solutions for builders, race teams, and drivers, while Holley also continues to be a longtime partner with NHRA.

“Holley continues to step up and prove they are here for the Sportsman racer,” NHRA Sportsman Racing Manager Jason Galvin said. “The great thing about the team at Holley is not only is it a trusted name our racers depend on, but the team behind Holley are also racers. They know how important it is to celebrate the backbone of the NHRA, and this season, Holley is going above and beyond to make sure our racers know how valued they are.”
