With just a handful of events left in the 2020 season, there is still a lot of action left for NHRA pro and sportsman racers including the completion several events that were postponed due to weather-related issues. Here’s a look at what’s on the docket for the next few races.

This week, Tricky Tipster, NHRA’s in-house oddsmaker for more than four decades, give the nod to native Texans Steve Torrence and Erica Enders in Top Fuel and Pro Stock, and also labels Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle), and Steve Jackson (Pro Mod) as the favorites.

It probably wasn’t fair to call it a “must win” race, but if Christopher Dodd is to become the 2020 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Super Comp champion, his recent win at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Midwest Nationals presented by Pennzoil could certainly be defined as “clutch”.

Weather-related issues pushed the final rounds of the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Midwest Nationals presented by Pennzoil Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series finals to Monday, but eventual champions Clint Neff (Comp), Marion Stephenson (Super Stock), and Kyle Rizzoli (Stock) likely didn’t mind the delay.
