The NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League Right Trailers Western Conference Finals returns to Texas Motorplex on June 13-15, and the Right Trailers NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals will take place July 17-19 at Bristol Dragway.

For the first time ever, NAPA will team up with NHRA as an official partner, becoming the “Official Auto Parts Store of NHRA” as part of an exciting multi-year agreement.

Set to celebrate its landmark 75th season in 2026, NHRA officials revealed a series of special plans today to kick off the campaign for the historic year in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.

NHRA has announced the 2025 season schedules for the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown, Holley EFI NHRA Factory X, Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock, and Pingel NHRA Top Fuel Motorcycle.

NHRA officials have announced the creation of a special two-day exhibition showcase race, a new event featuring big-name NHRA stars racing at an NHRA member track. The first showcase event, the Peach State NHRA Showcase of Champions, will take place Oct. 24-25, 2025, at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Ga.

The town of Brownsburg, Ind., home to the NHRA North Central Division and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, recently hosted their annual holiday parade which featured a significant NHRA drag racing presence.

Evan Jonat has been named NHRA Senior Vice President of National Events. Jonat, who is based out of NHRA’s San Dimas, Calif., office, has been NHRA Vice President of Live Events since 2018, first joining NHRA in 2007 as a field marketing manager.

Clinton Snead has been named the new NHRA Director of Engineering, returning to NHRA from Toyota Racing Development, where he served as senior engineer.

Tickets are now on sale for the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, which takes place March 27-30, 2025, as NHRA celebrates 65 years of the historic race next season at the legendary In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. Fans can also see the return to four qualifying sessions for the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.

Tony Stewart Racing has announced that Mike Knudsen has been promoted to crew chief on Matt Hagan’s Funny Car, with Phil Shuler joining the championship-winning team heading into 2025.

Josh Hart Racing has added Jason McCulloch as co-crew chief, joining veteran crew chief Ron Douglas moving into the 2025 NHRA season. McCulloch will be in the Brownsburg, Ind.-area shop starting immediately to work with Douglas on a plan of attack for the 2025 season.

Team owner and Funny Car legend Jim Dunn was recognized with the NHRA Lifetime Achievement Award at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series championship banquet.

For the first time in its 23 seasons of NHRA competition, Toyota has won the NHRA Manufacturers Cup. Toyota’s resounding success in Top Fuel this year, along with its achievements in Funny Car, led to its first-ever season triumph.

First-time world champion Austin Prock was honored Monday evening, along with multitime world champs Antron Brown, Greg Anderson, and Gaige Herrera, during the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony at the Pechanga Resort Casino in scenic Southern California Wine Country.

In one of the closest races in recent history, Top Fuel driver and motorsports legend Tony Stewart was named the 2024 NHRA Rookie of the Year in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
