NHRA National Dragster’s annual Readers Choice edition, one of the most anticipated and popular issues each year, is online now for NHRA members, and it’s in the mail to homes and shops around the world. It is the ninth issue of 2017.

Tanner Gray has jumped into the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series spotlight with a quick start in his rookie season. But even at 18 years old, the Pro Stock rising star knows his performance is only made possible by the support of a strong team.

Australian Pro Stock racer Shane Tucker will return to the United States to compete this weekend at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. Tucker and team currently plan on attending 14 races in 2017 and running their own engine program all season.

After an incredibly hot start, Kevin Helms is leading the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series points standings in both Super Stock and Stock.

Placed in the middle of three straight races, the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals provides a chance for drivers to bounce back if they struggled last weekend in Houston. But the uniqueness of the race also poses a massive challenge for every driver in the Funny Car class.

The biggest spectacle in drag racing and one of the most unique experiences in all of motorsports will take place when the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series again returns to zMAX Dragway for the eighth annual NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, April 28-30.

Heavy rain and a water-logged track caused the postponement of the 2017 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series First Western Regional and Division 3 Sportsman Events at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis April, 28-30. The Ray Skillman Chevrolet Spring Spectacle of Speed will now take place August 10, just prior to the Fall Lucas Oil Series event scheduled for August 11-13. 

Craig Bourgeois, Joel Covington, and Brett Candies led the list of winners as the Texas Motorplex played host to the NHRA South Central Division on April 28-30. The event is one of 45 scheduled across the country where drivers in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series earn points leading to divisional and national championships.

Lucas Oil has signed an agreement to become the title rights sponsor of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event at Atlanta Dragway. The 37th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Southern Nationals will be held May 5-7.

Tanner Gray further solidified his status as favorite for the Auto Club Road to the Future Award, tallying two more round-wins and bringing his season total to double digits during the NHRA SpringNationals in Houston.

The NHRA SpringNationals, race five of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, featured many memorable moments. Here’s a look at the five best moments from the weekend.

Joey Severance, Woodburn, Ore., and Doug Gordon, Paso Robles, Calif., led the winner’s circle for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series portion of the 30th annual NHRA SpringNationals at Royal Purple Raceway.

Denso Products and Services Americas has partnered with Pro Stock Motorcycle racer Angie Smith as her lead sponsor for four events in the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, beginning with this weekend's NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte.

Bob Tasca III and his AutoAlert Ford Shelby Mustang will be representing Tasca Racing in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, April 28-30. It is the first of two events at which the two will partner this season.

Leah Pritchett got her third win of the season to move into first place in Top Fuel, defending Funny Car champion Ron Capps earned a win, and Bo Butner earned his first career victory in Pro Stock at the NHRA SpringNationals outside of Houston.

Mike Castellana maintained the qualifying lead and ran the quickest elapsed time in NHRA Pro Mod history during eliminations Saturday at the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series portion of the SpringNationals at Royal Purple Raceway.

Clay Millican, Courtney Force and Jeg Coughlin held onto their No. 1 qualifying positions at Royal Purple Raceway at the NHRA SpringNationals. The three drivers will lead the pack into the elimination rounds on Sunday.
