NHRA officials announced the addition of a third JEGS SPORTSnationals event to take place Oct. 24-25 during a doubleheader event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as part of a revised Pacific Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series schedule.

As the result of the cancellation of the California Hot Rod Reunion, the traditional season finale for the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series, NHRA officials have announced that the season will now conclude at two separate events on the weekend of Sept. 18-19.

NHRA has announced the schedule for the remainder of the 2020 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season, with six national events to complete the 2020 season. 

NHRA has competed at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis three times already this season, but when racers assemble again this weekend, it'll be for the coveted Denso Spark Plugs NHRA U.S. Nationals, and it;s a whole different Indy. Just ask past winners J.R. Todd and Tony Schumacher.

As NHRA's oldest and most prestigious race, the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA U.S. Nationals has ba special meaning for Mello Yello Drag Racing Series competitors including Ron Capps, Clay Millican, Jeg Coughlin Jr., and Angelle Sampey.

After announcing the revised 2020 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule, NHRA officials outlined the structure for Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series national championships.

NHRA officials have announced that the Summit Racing Series National Championships will be contested at the Dodge NHRA Finals, Oct. 30 – Nov. 1 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 

The best Sportsman racers that NHRA has to offer are headed for historic Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis this weekend to take part in the 36th annual JEGS Allstars, a special event held Friday at the Denso Spark Plugs U.S. Nationals.
