Kindness General Contractors (KGC) of Cypress, Calif., will be Jim Dunn Racing’s primary sponsor at NHRA’s final race of the season this weekend in Las Vegas.

The has experienced a stronger tune-up of late, with consecutive runs over 310 mph in qualifying at recent races in Dallas and Houston. Its goal is to have the most competitive outing this season for KGC as well as other seasonlong sponsors including Cattleman’s Cut Beef Jerky, DiPinto International Logistics, and Blaze Technical Services.

“The races are more fun for everyone when we’re fielding a competitive Funny Car,” shared Team Manager Jon Dunn. “Going into the two races at Texas we made changes to the clutch and timing system that the car responded to very well. We are excited to have guests from KGC join us in Vegas this weekend and want to thank all of our partners for supporting the team. We normally end the season at Pomona with a Mooneyes Funny Car, but with a shortened season they will be with us this weekend as a major presence on the KGC Funny Car.  We also have great partners like DiPinto celebrating their 25th year in business, and new sponsors like Sqwincher hydration drink which was a big hit with race fans.”

KGC, headquartered not far from the Dunn team shop in Southern California, has been a part of Jim Dunn Racing for the past several seasons. The general contracting firm manages and facilitates a complete range of construction projects. Participation with the race team provides KGC national exposure, entertainment, and a recreational outlet for the firm.

The Jim Dunn Racing crew and driver, Jim Campbell, begin qualifying on Saturday.
