With two races remaining in the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, Funny Car's Austin Prock is a huge favorite to win his first Funny Car title, while current leaders Justin Ashley (Top Fuel), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock), and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are also favored.

Densham Motorsports Inc. has announced a new sponsor partnership with Gary Marcus Trucking Ltd. for its Funny Car at the Ford Performance NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas. Second-generation driver Steven Densham will be behind the wheel.

The Winefsky family will make its long-anticipated nitro Funny Car debut at the upcoming Ford Performance NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, with veteran flopper driver John Hale at the controls. Dylan Winefsky will make licensing runs after the event in anticipation of a 2025 debut.

The NHRA Breakfast, a staple of the SEMA Show for more than two decades, takes place Nov. 6: This year's topic is “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants.” NHRA stars Ron Capps, Tony Schumacher, Austin Prock, and crew chief Jim Oberhofer will appear – as well as a celebrated surprise guest – to discuss the “giant” that helped start their drag racing career.

Michael Brand, Sean Bellemeur, and Tom Stalba all enjoyed double-up weekends at the Texas NHRA FallNationals, following their Saturday victories in the annual JEGS Allstars competition with big victories on Sunday at the Texas Motorplex.

Funny Car championship contender Jack Beckman, who has been driving the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS on behalf of drag racing legend John Force, will not compete today in the 39th NHRA Texas Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex after awakening Sunday morning with vertigo-like symptoms.

Following a dominant performance that included three individual winners, the team from the NHRA Northeast Division claimed a record ninth overall team title in the prestigious JEGS Allstars competition, held this weekend at the Texas Motorplex during the Texas NHRA FallNationals.

During the second round of Pro Stock qualifying on Friday at the Texas NHRA FallNationals, Eric Latino crossed the centerline and then struck the right wall, with the car flipping on its top before coming to a stop. Latino was alert, exited the car under his own power and was examined onsite by NHRA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Surface before being released.

During Friday's qualifying at the Texas NHRA FallNationals, NHRA officials crowned Sean Bellemeur the world champion in Top Alcohol Funny Car for the fourth time in his career. The driver of the Bartone Bros. Camaro previously won championships in 2018, 2019, and 2021 and is just the third racer to win four titles in the class.

On Wednesday night before the 39th annual NHRA Texas FallNationals the 2023 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series event winners were honored one last time for their respective historic achievements. To
