A week after losing to him by .003-second in the Top Alcohol Funny Car final round of Summit Motorsports Park’s regional event, Doug Gordon turned the tables on Sean Bellemeur, handing the five-time world champion and four-time season winner his first loss of the season with a 5.51 after Bellemeur smoked the tires.
Gatornationals Comp winner Peter D’Agnolo added a second season score in his E/SMA Cobalt as the 2022 Super Stock world champ defeated 2010 Comp world champ Al Ackerman, who fouled in the final round.
Brenda Grubbs was solid on the starting line, including the final round of Super Stock, where she used a .018 light to help score a win against Ron Richards, who fouled.
