March of Dimes backs NHRA driver and mom to become advocate for cause
March of Dimes has announced a new partnership with NHRA driver and mom, Deni Jensen, who will become a March of Dimes advocate for healthy moms and strong babies.
In 2017, tragedy struck Jensen’s young family. She was 13 weeks pregnant with her second child when she experienced a miscarriage and lost her baby. The medical staff at the hospital were unable to determine the exact cause, and the experience was difficult for her family for a long time.
Today, she and her husband are proud parents to two daughters. Through her flourishing motorsports career, Jensen is leveraging her platform to share her story and promote the mission of March of Dimes among the national racing community and its corporate partners.
Through the unique partnership, she hopes to advocate for others who have experienced a similar loss and help raise critical funds to support March of Dimes’ mission.
March of Dimes is a national nonprofit that leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies to provide research, advocacy, education, and programs to give all moms, babies, and families the best possible start.
Jensen will run a limited schedule in Top Alcohol Dragster in 2024 with Randy Meyer Racing.
