J.R. Todd made a 3.924-second pass at 318.99-mph to capture the provisional Funny Car pole in Q2 at the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties. The DHL Funny Car driver is looking for his first No. 1 qualifier of the season. He has 10 in his professional career covering both Funny Car and Top Fuel.
