Don “the Snake” Prudhomme joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio presented by Papa John’s to discuss the upcoming Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals.

Prudhomme talked about his first trip to Indy, a race he won back in 1965 in Top Fuel over Tommy Ivo. He spoke about some of the highlights of his career racing at the “Big Go,” including his incredible run in Funny Car in the 1970s, his double in 1989, and his thoughts on seeing NHRA founder Wally Parks at the end of the race track.

Finally, “the Snake” spoke about his wins as a car owner at Indy and the current state of Top Fuel and Funny Car.
