NHRA Sportsman champion Luke Bogacki joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about the upcoming Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway.

Bogacki, who is preparing to race Super Comp and Super Gas this weekend, has already scored a win at the U.S. Nationals, in 2015 in Super Comp. The two-time national champion talked about how the U.S. Nationals became important to him later on in his drag racing career, the result of stories told by his late father.

He also spoke about racing in the index classes, what he loves about the competition, and, finally, some of the drivers that he looked up to growing up in Texas.
