Two-time NHRA Pro Stock champ Erica Enders joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to discuss her excitement about NHRA’s next stop on tour at Royal Purple Raceway for the NHRA SpringNationals. Enders, who lives now in New Orleans, grew up in the Houston area and considers the facility her home racetrack.

Enders reminisces about going to the track to watch her father, Gregg, compete with her sister Courtney, as well as her first race in Jr. Dragsters, along with her success there in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and, of course, in Pro Stock.

Her team has spent several weeks testing her Elite Motorsports Camaro, and the Elite team will have a fourth car this weekend, driven by Alex Laughlin. Additionally, Enders, who is also competing again in Super Gas, will race alongside her husband, Richie Stevens, who is back racing in the class, driving this weekend for Deric Kramer.
