Between race wins, Pritchett keeps a busy schedule of activities
Leah Pritchett joined NHRA reporters Amanda Busick and Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s via Skype to talk about her very busy schedule.
Pritchett recently was in New York City for the unveiling of the new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, a car that boasts 840 horsepower and can run in the nine-second zone on a quarter-mile dragstrip. Pritchett also spoke about her successful start of the season in her Don Schumacher, Papa John’s-sponsored Top Fueler, where she has a round record of 11–2 going into race No. 5 next weekend at Royal Purple Raceway.
Finally, Pritchett talked about going from New York City directly to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis to participate with her husband, Gary, at the track's popular “Wild Wednesday” time trials event. She was in her Hellcat Challenger, and her husband, Gary, was in the family’s eight-second street legal Mustang.
