Austin Prock will be named the 2024 NHRA Funny Car world champion following qualifying Saturday at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals but remains laser-focused on trying to end the year in impressive fashion. A ninth win — and a first world championship for the young standout — would certainly do it.

Funny Car rookie Buddy Hull will finish out his first season in the class behind the wheel of the iconic Mooneyes-branded Jim Dunn Racing Funny Car at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals.

Stephen Bell, a seven-time winner in NHRA’s Factory Stock Showdown, will break into the Professional NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series ranks at the season-opening NHRA Gatornationals. Bell will compete at a minimum of 10 races under the Elite Motorsports banner in 2025.
