At the 1986 Gatornationals, "Big Daddy" Don Garlits debuted Swamp Rat XXX which featured a number of aerodynamic enhancements including unique front nose and a cockpit canopy. By the end of the weekend, he'd made history with the sport's first 270-mph run.
