Denso will sponsor Stringer Performance / Millican Top Fueler at Sonoma event
Denso will not only be the primary sponsor of this weekend’s upcoming NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series stop in Sonoma, they will also be the primary sponsor on the side of Clay Millican’s Parts Plus Top Fuel dragster.
Stringer Performance will again showcase the Denso brand at the annual visit to California’s Wine Country during the second of three events in NHRA’s famed Western Swing.
“Denso continues to be a great partner, and having them with Clay at their own NHRA race event is something very special. We value Denso and their commitment to offering Parts Plus a full line-up of products, which makes this a win-win,” said team owner Doug Stringer.
Millican not only drives the Stringer-owned Parts Plus Top Fueler, he also is a major player in the social media world with his highly successful YouTube channel and will continue to drive custom content related to this exciting Denso program from their Sonoma race all weekend.
“It’s always great to have the Denso brand huge on the side of my Parts Plus race car. They have been longtime supporters of our program, and since it’s their event, we plan to ‘crush’ the competition, as they say in Wine Country!” said an excited Millican.
In addition to being the title sponsor of the NHRA Sonoma Nationals, Denso will host the “Denso Cornhole Challenge” at their midway display at 10 a.m. Saturday, pitting some of the greatest championship drivers and riders in the sport featuring Matt and Angie Smith to Greg Anderson, who will join Millican for a “mini-round” of cornhole that will be followed by a fan autograph session also at the Denso/Lincoln/K&N Display.
“Denso is once again proud to sponsor Stringer Performance and Top Fuel driver Clay Millican for the Denso Sonoma NHRA Nationals,” said Fran Labun, vice president and general manager, Denso Products and Services Americas, Inc. “Denso believes in continuing strong relationships with partners like Clay, who is a tough competitor and a tremendous role model.”
