On Thursday morning, NHRA and the Texas Motorplex hosted the JEGS Allstars Breakfast presented by ARP, ahead of the competition in which the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series’ Sportsman stars of the last calendar year will go head to head for individual and team honors.

The racers received a breakfast served by the Texas Motorplex as well as custom barbecue aprons, and a barbecue rub as part of the kickoff festivities. The racers also received their JEGS goody bags and tow money.

“The JEGS Allstars Breakfast has become a staple event and a great way to kick off this race,” said NHRA Sportsman Manager Jason Galvin. “It’s a chance to get our racers together before the pressure of the competition kicks in and honor the amazing accomplishments of these 80 racers. As always, the Texas Motorplex staff goes above and beyond for NHRA racers to make sure know how much we appreciate each of them.”
