NHRA - National Hot Rod Association

The Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals marks the end of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series regular season and sets the field for the six-race Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

Racers qualify for the playoffs in two ways, either by being among the Top 10 in points or by making at least the minimum required number of qualifying sessions at the 16 regular-season events.

With a points-and-a-half scoring scheme, a maximum of 195 points are available for any driver who can max out their Big Go performance.
