After much success in bracket racing, Dan Lafferty achieved a longtime goal of an NHRA national event win when he beat Curt Fredrich in the final of Right Trailers Top Sportsman. Lafferty posted a 6.845 on his 6.83 dial while Fredrich broke out by two thousandths.
