The final rounds of Right Trailers Top Dragster were moved from Gainesville to Bristol due to rain, and the wait was worth it for Wayne Brooks, who claimed his first NHRA win. Brooks topped world champ Darian Boesch in the final with a 6.307 on his 6.28 dial.
