Vance & Hines Motorsports has announced that Brayden Davis has secured use of a Vance & Hines Motorsports rental bike for the six-race NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship playoffs. Davis will begin the playoffs as the No. 9-ranked racer in the Pro Stock Motorcycle class, 100 points behind leader Gaige Herrera.

Davis will continue to compete as an independent entrant, utilizing a Gen 3 Suzuki Hayabusa made available through Vance & Hines Motorsports’ rental program, which provides qualified racers without their own motorcycles the opportunity to participate at the highest level of NHRA competition.

Davis has competed in four events, including three with the Vance & Hines team. He qualified No. 1 in Bristol and went to the semifinals. He also turned in a semifinal finish in Richmond and won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, posting career-best marks of 6.757 seconds and 198.85 mph.

More recently, Davis earned a runner-up finish at the sport’s most prestigious event, the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals while also breaking the 200-mph barrier.

By committing to the six Countdown events, Davis becomes eligible for NHRA’s 2025 Rookie of the Year award. Under NHRA rules, rookie status applies to competitors who participate in five or more events in a single prior season or 15 starts across multiple seasons.

Davis will once again be back by PowerTrain Inc., a supplier of high-performance drivetrain and engine components.
