2025 Funny Car season stats

NHRA on FOX producer Pete Richards keeps detailed statistics across many categories over the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, tracking traditional stats and complex metrics. Here's a look at the leaders in many of the statistical categories in Funny Car.

EVENT WINS

Although Prock dominated with one one more win than he did in 2024, it's great to see eight different winners in 19 races.

SPEED INDEX

Kudos to Hagan tuner Mike Knudsen in his first full year as a main guy for getting Hagan down the track more consistently than everyone else.

#1 QUALIFIERS

Although Prock didn't get 15 No. 1s like he did in 2024, John Force Racing nonetheless ruled the top of the qualifying sheets with 12 No. 1s in 19 races. Funny thing is, Prock only turned one of his No. 1s into an event win (Dallas) and had just five win lights total after the other six.

QUICKEST RUNS OF 2025

A few things really jump out here, the first being that Pomona showed that the ol' gal still knows how to dish out the numbers. The second thing, wow, Paul Lee and Jonnie Lindberg/John Medlen. Second- and third-best passes of the season.

TOP SPEED

No surprise that the only two guys with 340-mph time slips to their credit are the leaders here, but Todd was a bit of an under-the-radar runner.
