Travis Shumake will make his fourth start of the season in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series behind the wheel of his black and neon green Gillette Labs Top Fuel dragster at this week’s Ford Performance NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Shumake is partnering with Gillette to promote Gillette's Movember campaign, bringing awareness to important issues in men’s health, including suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Men around the world, including Shumake, will grow mustaches in November and December to honor Movember's mission and these important causes.

Shumake's Top Fuel dragster will be tuned by Scrappers Racing crew chiefs Troy Fasching and Adem Cave, who built the car for him in 2023 and helped him secure his license last fall. The talented driver is eager to make forward progress and turn on some win lights in the ultra-competitive Top Fuel category as he continues honing his skills as a driver and team owner.

As the first disruptors in the grooming industry, Gillette is a great match for Shumake, who was recently named to the prestigious OUT100 list for the positive impact he is making on the racing world. Throughout November and December, for the purchase of every Gillette razor, Gillette will make a donation to Movember. Shumake and members of the Scrappers team are also growing mustaches in honor of Movember with the help of Gillette’s extensive product lines.

“Movember encourages men to get comfortable talking about their mental and physical health. It's about staying socially connected and being comfortable discussing challenging moments,” said Shumake, son of the late drag racer Tripp Shumake. "If I can get our fans in the stands and the millions watching at home talking about guy stuff while I try to match my dad's iconic mustache ... I am all in!"

In addition to Gillette Labs, global scientific leader CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, continues their support of Shumake in a major way, along with Las Vegas law firm Lerner & Rowe, the Napp Brothers, and Red Line Oil. Indiana-based Gottschalk Group will also join Shumake for the first time this weekend in preparation for a larger 2025 partnership.

Shumake is making a special appearance as a guest bartender on Bravo TV's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The episode is scheduled to air on Nov. 3, and Shumake is encouraging all of his fans to tune in.
