The nighttime parade, which is labeled as “Christmas Under the Stars,” follows a 1.2-mile route through downtown Brownsburg, not far from the gates of the iconic NHRA facility, which is home to the U.S. Nationals. The parade featured the NHRA North Central Division safety truck, which was part of a strong showing of first responder vehicles. Also featured was the Brownsburg High School football team, who recently won their first state championship since 1985.

“The town of Brownsburg has long been a huge supporter of the NHRA North Central Division as well as Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, and we were honored to help them celebrate the holidays by taking part in the Christmas Under the Stars Parade,” said Division 3 Director William Tharpe, who was joined in the parade by Kista Fritts, NHRA North Central Division Coordinator and Deanna Williamson, Division Administrative Assistant.

. “We had a lot of fun, and we had a lot of fun, and our truck was well received by the fans along the parade route. This was our first time participating in this event, but it won’t be the last.”
