With one event remaining in the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, current leaders Justin Ashley and Aaron Stanfield are favored to win their respective categories.
NHRA fans participating in gaming as part of the PlayNHRA initiative continue to have the opportunity to place wagers on the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series champions in Top Fuel and Pro Stock ahead of this weekend’s season-ending In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona. While the titles are nearly decided in Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle, there are still multiple contenders for the Top Fuel and Pro Stock championships, and the experts at Alt Sports Data have provided updated odds for those classes.
In Top Fuel, eight drivers are mathematically in the running for the championship, with Justin Ashley sitting in the top spot. As a result, he’s the favorite. Ashley’s current price is -126, which means a wager of $10 would return $17.94 for a $7.94 profit.
Other title contenders include Antron Brown and Shawn Langdon, who are less than two rounds behind. Brown, a three-time champion, is 44 points back, while Langdon is 45 points out of first place. Brown’s odds are +307, while Langdon sits at +632.
