The September 2024 issue of NHRA National Dragster, saluting the 70th annual Toyota NHRA U.S. Nationals, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

With more than 50 pages of news, notes, analysis, stats, and photos, the Big Go gets its due coverage, including special features on the wins by Austin Prock, Aaron Stanfield, Gaige Herrera, Bo Butner, and much more. We’ve also included a special news notebook detailing all of the behind-the-scenes action and an extended photo gallery from the race. We’ve also got complete coverage of the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, the Pep Boys NHRA All-Star Funny Car Callout, the Rooftec Comp Cash Clash, and the NHRA Sox & Martin Hemi Challenge presented by the McCandless Collection.

Columnists Phil Burgess and Elon Werner talk about their experiences and impressions of the U.S. Nationals, while Evan Smith leans into what racers go through to prepare for and during an event as big and as important as the U.S. Nationals.

The issue contains even more race coverage, including the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd as well as NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series action from Divisions 3 and 6, NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series racing at Firebird Raceway, and NHRA member track reports.

Fast-rising Top Fuel start Ida Zetterström shares her thoughts about her Brainerd debut and more in our regular “Five Minutes With” interview, while Luke Bogacki offers a salute to late, great Sportsman racer Scotty Richardson, and ND Senior Editor Kevin McKenna reveals his August Sportsman Racer of the Month.

All this and much more in our September issue.
