“The In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals is a race loaded with incredible history and magical moments and it’s certainly an event every race fan should experience,” said NHRA Vice President of Track Management & Operations, Kasey Coler. “We’re so thrilled to have In-N-Out Burger as the sponsor of this race for the first time as part of what will be another spectacular weekend. With championships often coming down to the final day and sometimes the final run of the season, you can just feel the drama and excitement in the air, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in Pomona.”

Austin Prock (Top Fuel), Cruz Pedregon (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock), and Angie Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) won last year’s event, while Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Ron Capps (Funny Car), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) wrapped up their year with world championships. The race will again be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) as the season closes in style in Pomona.

In Top Fuel, Doug Kalitta and Tony Schumacher both have six career victories in Pomona, which ties legendary Don Garlits for the most in class history. Last year, Force made the fastest run in Top Fuel history at the NHRA Finals, going an incredible 338.94 mph under the lights in Pomona.

Funny Car’s Capps claimed his second straight world title in Pomona, winning by a handful of points over Robert Hight by advancing to the final round, also setting the track speed record (337.33). John Force’s 16 wins in Pomona – which also matches his overall world championships – leads all drivers, while Matt Hagan has six victories at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

Pro Stock’s Anderson earned his 14th win at the legendary facility last year, finishing second in points to Enders, who claimed her fifth title last season. In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Matt Smith has five wins in Pomona, winning his third straight title last season. Included in Angie Smith’s NHRA Finals win was also a track speed record (202.94) a year ago.
