Pro Stock’s Matt Hartford to sport GETTRX branding in Denver farewell
In the midst of a career-best season, Matt Hartford and his Total Seal/CIP1 Camaro will sport a familiar look when the team unloads Friday in Denver. GETTRX, powered by Global Electronic Technology, returns to the door of Hartford’s Jerry Haas-built Pro Stock machine for the second time in 2023.
“We are stoked to have the entire GETTRX team back with us this weekend,” said Hartford. “The last time we had Steve Bryson, his son Scott, and the GETTRX family at the track, we nearly swept the race. What better track than Denver to take it one step further and finish the job?”
Hartford enters the final Dodge Power Brokers Mile-High Nationals as the defending event champion. Coming off his first national event victory of 2023 in Norwalk, Hartford enters the Western Swing second in NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Pro Stock points.
GETTRX debuted on the door of Hartford’s machine at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, where the Arizona native captured his first Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge trophy and advanced to the final round on Sunday.
“GETTRX is proud to be back on the door of what I feel is the best car in Pro Stock right now,” said GETTRX founder and CEO Steve Bryson. “Matt and his company, Total Seal, have been long-time clients and know what it’s like to receive our customer-focused service. We’re looking forward to seeing The Fastest Name in Credit Card Processing on the side of one of the fastest cars around right now.”
Bryson and Hartford have enjoyed a long-standing business relationship, with Total Seal utilizing GETTRX’s industry-leading technology to process payments securely, efficiently, and with the best rates available.
The two successful businessmen found a common bond as Veterans, and both have seen their respective businesses grow through drag racing.
Hartford is one of just two active Pro Stock drivers to win on the mountain, and on top of his eliminations success, he has also secured three top qualifiers awards this season. In 2022, Hartford roared to victory over No. 1 qualifier Aaron Stanfield behind a .004 reaction time in the final.
GETTRX is coming off a Pro Stock double in Norwalk, having also adorned the side of Pro Stock Motorcycle winner (and 2018 Denver victor) Hector Arana Jr.’s Buell.
The 65th and final NHRA Mile-High Nationals is bittersweet for Bryson, as GETTRX and the Bandimere family have enjoyed a five-year partnership.
“It’s easy to fall in love with Bandimere Speedway for its beauty and unique location,” Bryson said. “But the thing we will miss the most is working with the Bandimere Family. They operate their business as a true family, and that is something we have always valued at GETTRX.
“We want to thank the Bandimere family for all they have done for this sport we all love. I look forward to celebrating them with our family this weekend.”
