NHRA Arizona Nationals packs 'em in again for second straight sold-out day
For the second straight day, NHRA and Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park officials announced a sellout crowd, this time for eliminations at the 38th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals in Phoenix.
Fans flocked to the facility in massive numbers all weekend for the final NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series race at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, leading to sellout crowds on both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s huge crowd enjoyed the first Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, while fans packed the track during eliminations on Sunday.
It also already marks the third sellout day to open the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing season. The Gatornationals also featured a sellout on Saturday at the first race of the 2023 campaign, with two overflow crowds making their way to Phoenix this weekend.
The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series returns to action on March 30-April 2 with the Lucas Oil Winternationals at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.
