The sixth 2023 issue of NHRA National Dragster, featuring complete coverage from the Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals and Sportsman-racer features, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

Our guardwall-to-guardwall coverage of NHRA’s return to Route 66 Raceway includes all of the reportorial and photo goodness you’ve come to expect, plus coverage of the inaugural Pro Stock Callout, the latest Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, and coverage of both Mountain Motor Pro Stock and the Street Car Shootout.

We’ve also got coverage from the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series (Maple Grove and the Texas Motorplex doubleheader) and a report from the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series event in Sacramento, Calif.

On the feature front, Kelly Wade penned a wonderful article recapping Sportsman superstar Austin Williams’ rise through the Jr. Dragster ranks to powerhouse performer, while Senior Editor Kevin McKenna dug deep into the points archive to recount the five greatest seasons in NHRA Sportsman racing.

Editor Phil Burgess also went the history vault for a feature recapping the best season starts in NHRA history dating back to the 1970s as we continue to awe at Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Gaige Herrera’s three-race unbeaten streak to launch the 2023 campaign.

Our Racing technology column focuses on Holley’s trick Sniper fuel injection offering, which allows a virtual plug-and-play experience for users.

We’ve also got a feature on Jr. Dragster standout Morgan Harp and a preview of the upcoming Eastern and Western Jr. Conference Finals events, as well an interview with Peggy Llewelling, who made her return to Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Chicago event, and we talked to NHRA Motorsports Museum board chairman Dale Coleman about the upcoming Wally Parks NHRA Nostalgia Nationals.
