On the anniversary of the Legends Nitro Funny Cars format taking place at select NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series events, Modern Warriors, "Your Tactical Specialist," will present the final round of captivating, nitromethane-powered Funny Car action at the NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Oct. 26-29.

The Modern Warriors Legends Nitro Funny Cars will enhance the excitement of the penultimate race of the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series with 10 Nitro Funny Cars with rules and body styles reflecting the 1970s era competing for a coveted NHRA Wally in a three-round eliminations format. The stakes have been raised during qualifying with the driver having the quickest average elapsed time from their qualifying runs and first round of eliminations on Saturday collecting the $2,000 CHE Precision Inc. Need4Speed bonus.

Drivers slated to compete at The Strip in Las Vegas Motor Speedway included newly crowned 2023 champion Bobby Cottrell, Pomona winner and former Top Fuel standout Cory McClenathan, Tim Boychuk, Geoff Monise, Billy Morris, Kamaka Pocock, Chuck Loftin, Ryan Hodgson, Dave Benjamin, and Derrick Moreira. Cottrell has put together a stellar season behind the wheel of the Austin & O'Brien '69 Camaro, and he will face tough competition in his attempt to put a cherry on top of his campaign with a win in Las Vegas.

The overwhelmingly positive response to Legends Nitro Funny Cars at NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series events in its debut season has led to increased interest in 2024.
