The first 2023 issue of NHRA National Dragster is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

The season-opening issue includes a through look at the armada of drivers who will be competing in the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series – a truly encyclopedic look at the rosters in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle – and a look at all of the major NHRA classes and programs that will be contested this season, from the new Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge to the All-Star Callouts in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle and the new “package” awards being offered by Laris Motorsports Insurance at the divisional level.

We also offer a comprehensive look at all of the racing news that accumulated from the first week of December through our print deadline, with news about team sponsorships and other NHRA programs.

The issue’s cover stories focus on rising Super Stock star Wyatt Wagner, a past Division 5 Rookie of the Year, and a wide-ranging interview with recently dethroned Top Fuel champ Steve Torrence. Wagner may not be as familiar to you – unless you’ve chased his Camaro’s taillights down the track – but you’ll see what drives this young gun in his career.

The Torrence interview is packed with so much goodness, insight, and honesty that you’ll probably look at him in a different light.
