Electrolit premium hydration products has joined Jim Dunn Racing in a promotion with Menards stores this summer. With temperatures starting to warm up at racetracks, Jim Dunn Racing has aligned itself with Electrolit to keep its team hydrated and ready for the challenges of NHRA Drag Racing. 

Starting with the Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by Peak Performance, Electrolit will join the team for a driver autograph session and Funny Car display at the Menards store in Joliet, Ill., (2524 W. Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60435), on Thursday, May 18.  Driver Alex Laughlin will be signing autographs, and the team will have its nitro Funny Car on display at the store for fans to enjoy from 5:30-7 p.m.

Longtime team sponsor DiPinto International Logistics will be making its primary graphics debut on the team’s Funny Car with a creative scheme that will look great to fans at the track and those watching FOX Sports or streaming on NHRA.tv throughout the weekend. 

Laughlin, a rookie driver in the nitro Funny Car, is learning fast and looking forward to getting owner “Big Jim” Dunn another win in the record books. 

“Alex advances his learning curve with every run in the Funny Car,” said team manager Jon Dunn. “We can see significant growth from his testing days in February to where we are now. We are extremely confident in his driving ability to compete and win at this level.”
