Nine champions were crowned in Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition at the Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, led by Sean Bellemeur, who continued an amazing win streak at zMax Dragway that dates back more than two years.

Three-time world champ Bellemeur extended his unbelievable winning streak at zMAX Dragway to five straight events and 17 consecutive rounds when he outran a tough trio in the Top Alcohol Funny Car final round. Bellemeur, the No. 1 qualifier, finished ahead of Bob McCosh Jr., Brian Gawlik, and Matt Gill with a solid 5.45 for his first win of the season. [video]

Mike Coughlin collected career win No. 16 and his second in Top Alcohol Dragster with a spectacular triple-holeshot final-round victory, his quick-leaving 5.302 finishing ahead of Tony Stewart, Julie Nataas, and Cody Krohn. Coughlin has wins in five classes: Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Super Comp, and Pro Stock Truck. [video]

David Eaton, the runner-up at the fall 2022 event at zMax Dragway, went the distance this time in Comp in his six-second Oakley-backed A/AP Bantam and was never seriously challenged throughout four rounds. Including the final round, where second-generation racer Jared Kimbrough red-lighted in his C/ED. [video]

Monty Bogan, whose four previous national event wins include the 2019 Charlotte race, scored again in Super Stock at zMax Dragway when he beat Tyler Caheely for the Super Stock title. Bogan left first and posted a 9.171 on his 9.09 dial for the victory. [video]

More than two decades after his last win at the 1999 Richmond race, Barry Parker delivered another title when he got the best of Steve Foley in the Stock final. Parker took the stripe by .019-second to win with a 10.281 on his 10.24 dial. [video]

John Labbous Jr., who was the runner-up at this event last year, collected his 11th career win and his fifth at zMax Dragway, winning a tight Super Comp final-round clash with Nichole Stephenson by just .003-second. [video]

Red-hot Sherman Adcock Jr.., already the runaway points leader in Super Gas after four straight divisional wins, added to his amazing start with his 13th career victory and his second in Charlotte. Adcock collected the victory easily in the final round and enjoyed a leisurely victory stroll after two-time national event winner Rusty Cook red-lighted by a frustrating-close .001-second. [video]

Scott Neal successfully defended his zMax title in Right Trailers Top Dragster with a win against Ross Laris in the final round. Neal stretched his win streak to 10 rounds at the Four-Wide Nationals with a perfect 7.200 on his 7.20 prediction. [video]

Brandon Miller just missed qualifying for the tough zMax Dragway Pro Stock field, but he managed to get the job done in Right Trailers Top Sportsman after opponent Michael Scott fouled in the final. [video]
