Camrie Caruso

Camrie Caruso will return to the seat of a Top Dragster prior to jumping into her Right Trailers Chevrolet Camaro Pro Stocker at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.

Caruso will be piloting Mike Scott’s beautiful carbon fiber Top Dragster in the upcoming Division 2 race at Gainesville Raceway the first weekend of March. With many years of Top Dragster experience prior to driving door cars and Pro Stock, Caruso is no stranger to the Top Dragster class.

“This is a great opportunity to get in front of the Tree and get back to where I began. I’m really grateful for the opportunity.” said Caruso, a third-generation drag racer. “I have been working with Mike for almost seven years now, and for him to trust me with his Top Dragster means a lot. I have wanted to get back to Sportsman racing on the off weekends for a while, and now, I have the chance.”

When asked about the decision to turn his Top Dragster over to Caruso, Scott stated, “With the obligation to debut the 1963 Corvette in Top Sportsman at the Baby Gators in preparation for the Gatornationals, I wanted to put a great driver behind the wheel of the Right Trailers’ Nationwide Top Dragster.

He went on to say, “Camrie was the first and only driver that I thought of, and I’m confident that she will represent our team and our brand with her usual focus and professionalism.” After what will hopefully be a very successful weekend for the Right Trailers Motorsports team at the Baby Gators, about 3/4 of our team will be competing at the Gatornationals the following weekend.”

Fans can visit the team race and midway display and meet the drivers, which will include Right Trailers' very own Rilee and Braxton Scott, who will be competing in the Jr. Dragster shootout throughout the exhibition run during the Gatornationals. With entries ranging from Jr. Dragsters to Top Fuel Dragsters (and everything in between), the Right Trailers Motorsports team will be signing autographs and meeting fans when they are not competing. All fans are invited to stop by the midway for an opportunity to meet the past, present, and future of drag racing.
