Race coverage, feature stories fill jam-packed new issue of National Dragster
Read the new issue |
The new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, spotlighting coverage from the NHRA SpringNationals and Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals and packed with other features on NHRA Pro and Sportsman racers, is available online and in the mail to NHRA Members around the world.
A double-header of national event coverage from Houston and Charlotte headline the issue and cover subject Mike Salinas after his Top Fuel win at zMAX Dragway, but we’ve also got coverage from the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series tour, several NHRA national Opens, and Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series coverage.
In additional to all of the wall-to-wall race coverage, we take deep dives into several interesting feature subjects, including the Pro Stock-racing Cuadra family and the group of die-hard stick-shift Sportsman racers. In light of the historic all-female Pro Stock final between Erica Enders and Camrie Caruso in Houston, we take a look at the history of women in Pro Stock and also have an exclusive interview with Caruso about her rookie season that gives some insights into who she is.
Our columnists were also hard at work sharing their opinions and experiences. ND Editor Phil Burgess takes a look at why NHRA wins leader John Force refuses to wear the title of GOAT, WFO’s Joe Castello mourns for the passing of several racetracks near and dear to his heart, Brenda Grubbs profiles Mike and Janie Braswell, and Super Gas world champ Luke Bogacki wraps up his incredible “10 weeks in an RV” series.
We’ve got you covered on the tech side, too, as resident gearhead Evan Smith walks you through the sometimes-intimidating process of choosing and buying aftermarket cylinder heads.
