Jim Dunn Racing parts ways with Funny Car driver Jim Campbell

Jim Dunn Racing has announced that it is parting ways with Funny Car driver Jim Campbell. The race team is expected to announce a new driver at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) tradeshow in Indianapolis this week.

Jim Dunn Racing has announced that it is parting ways with Funny Car Driver Jim Campbell. The race team is expected to announce a new driver at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) tradeshow in Indianapolis this week.
 
Campbell began driving Big Jim Dunn’s Funny Car at the start of the 2017 season and competed in six consecutive full-seasons through the end of the 2022 campaign. He achieved his career best 3.92 second elapsed time during qualifying of the recent Auto Club NHRA Finals at Pomona.
 
“I’ve appreciated being a part of the Jim Dunn Racing family for the past six years. Learning from Hall of Fame driver and team owner, Jim Dunn, has meant the world to me. I’ve gained experience through the process s and look forward to my next racing adventure,” said Campbell.
