Top Fuel driver Justin Ashley will be debuting a new co-primary sponsor alongside Strutmasters.com for the 52nd annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, March 12-14. GuardLab, a sports technology company that uses 3D technology and 3D printing to create accurate and comfortable mouth guard products, will take center stage on the side of Ashley’s dragster, joining returning sponsors Strutmasters.com, Auto Shocker, and KATO Fastening Systems.

“Having GuardLab as our co-primary for the Gatornationals is very exciting,” said Ashley. “They have been great partners, and I wouldn’t make a run in this Top Fuel dragster without one of their mouth guards. I definitely feel a lot more comfortable in the car and know that I have an added layer of protection.”

In addition to GuardLab, RISE Brewing Company and The Daily Crave will also be making their NHRA debut as associate sponsors for the 2021 season. Ashley has been working tirelessly over the offseason to add new and diverse marketing partners to his race team and organization. Ashley’s goal is to secure additional primary sponsorship to fund the Davis Motorsports team for a run at the championship.

“There is no doubt it takes a lot of nitromethane fuel to get this dragster from zero to 100 mph in less than a second, but it also takes dollars to make it all happen,” said Ashley, the 2020 NHRA Rookie of the Year. “We have been blessed to work with Chip Lofton at Strutmasters.com as well as Auto Shocker. We renewed KATO Fasteners and continue to work with Menards, adding RISE and The Daily Crave, but we are always looking for additional partners. The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series is a great sport to promote and introduce products and services. We do a lot of B2B development as well. We have two goals every race; we want to win and make a positive impact for our sponsors.”

In 2020, Ashley captured his first Top Fuel win on the way to a Top 10 finish in the points standings. In 2021, the young driver is looking to contend for the NHRA Top Fuel championship and add more wins to his career ledger.
