Ron Capps and Cruz Pedregon take on World of Outlaws and NASCAR in a virtual Sprint Car and Dirt Late Model Race—Tune-in tonight at 8 p.m. ET on FS1
This online event marks the beginning of a weekly FS1 series of iRacing competitions to be hosted at various virtual racetracks. And based on the fan popularity and early success of Funny Car racers Ron Capps and Cruz Pedregon we anticipate other NHRA drivers to be joining the competition in the weeks ahead.
Tonight’s World of Outlaws iRacing events features Ron Capps in the 35-lap Sprint Car race and Cruz Pedregon in the 50-lap Dirt Late Model race going up against NASCAR’s Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell, World of Outlaws’ Brad Sweet, David Gravel, and Scott Bloomquist, and DIRTcar Racing’s Bobby Pierce.

The cars are designed to resemble popular street-car makes from manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Ford, and Dodge. The cars weigh 2,350 pounds and run on racing gasoline.
