Due to a unique combination of cold temperatures and wind direction, NHRA officials have postponed the conclusion of racing in the Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Mountain Motor Pro Stock, and Factory Stock classes, as well as the balance of Lucas Oil Sportsman racing, at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Midwest Nationals presented by Pennzoil at World Wide technology Raceway.

The Sportsman classes are scheduled to complete their racing on Monday, but no new dates or venues have been announced yet for the other completions.

Action was halted midway through the second round of Pro Stock car, with Greg Anderson and Matt Hartford both advancing. Erica Enders and Chris McGaha were preparing to race when action in the class was halted. Aaron Stanfield and Jason Line also did not get to make their runs.

Anderson will face the winner of the Enders-McGaha race while Hartford will square off with the winner of the Stanfield-Line match.

Pro Stock Motorcycle is down to four semifinalists, with low qualifier Matt Smith scheduled to take on Steve Johnson and U.S. Nationals champ Scotty Pollacheck lining up alongside reigning world champ Andrew Hines.

No eliminations were completed in the E3 Spark Plugs Pro Mod Series presented by J&A Service or the SAMTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock Showdown classes. Additionally, the rain-delayed Factory Stock final round from the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals has yet to be run.
