During the first round of eliminations at the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Pro Mod driver Kris Thorne’s 2018 Chevrolet Camaro crossed the centerline then made contact with the wall and rolled, before coming to a rest.

Thorne, who had defeated Jason Scruggs on the pass, exited the car under his own power.

A few pairs later, Steve Matusek’s 2020 Ford Mustang crossed the centerline and rolled, before coming to a rest on its roof. Matusek exited the car under his own power.
