SSG, Laris Motorsports Insurance announce marketing partnership with Clay Millican
The Straightline Strategy Group welcomed Laris Motorsports Insurance as a major sponsor of their Top Fuel dragster driven by Clay Millican for this weekend’s Arby’s Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga.
With a special division dedicated to the racer, Laris Motorsports Insurance offers ‘off track’ as well as ‘on track’ coverage for select classes. They also offer coverage for tow vehicles, trailers, and many other coverages that racers need.
“With our knowledge of the services and products Laris Motorsports Insurance offers and the marketing opportunities we can create through our Top Fuel Dragster program, the Atlanta event became perfect for the official launch of the Laris Motorsports Division in NHRA Drag racing,” said SSG’s Scott Gardner.
“As racers ourselves we understand the challenges in this sport/business and have developed a specialty program specific to those challenges with the customer service that racers want,” said Ross Laris, owner of Laris Motorsports Insurance.
Laris Insurance Agency LLC has held a strong and constantly growing presence since its inception in South Louisiana in 1939. The Laris Motorsports Insurance Co. has been a great addition to their agency.
“We can now help our friends and fellow racers to protect their assets to the fullest” said Ross Laris. You will see Ross Laris and his son Holden Laris at most of the NHRA races promoting their insurance company. Back at home there are over 70 employees, including an aggressive sales force, backing them up. They strive to maintain a personal relationship with all of their clients.
The SSG will continue to banner Laris Motorsports Insurance as an associate sponsor for the balance of the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series in the Top Fuel division.
Millican, with primary backing from Parts Plus, is quickly becoming one of the most consistent in the division with two final rounds and two semi-final round finishes at the first six events of the season and recently moving into 3rd position in the championship point’s series.
“Consistency has and continues to be a goal of our team while we refine our operation and improve the overall performance,” said Millican.
