The Route 66 NHRA Nationals got off to a flying start with a terrific first Funny Car qualifying session, quick runs in Top Fuel and a first 6-second pass for Jianna Salinas in Pro Stock Motorcycle. A loaded field in Pro Stock hasn't quite taken up a bounty to run down Bo Butner, but Matt Hartford got off to a quick start in his Camaro, perhaps to beat the field to the punch. Those are some of the storylines early on -- but you came for the photos captured by the NHRA National Dragster photographers. So, let's get on with it.
