Power Rankings

NHRA Power Rankings debuted alongside the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals in Pomona as a way to measure race teams via a host of drag racing statistics. To help bring fans up to speed, NHRA on FOX broadcasters Tony Pedregon and Brian Lohnes joined National Dragster Associate Editor Jake Sundstrom in the Wally Parks Studio via Skype to talk about how NHRA Power Rankings got started and the current leaders in the club house.

To learn more about the current leaders in Top Fuel and Funny Car following the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals, check out our latest NHRA Power Rankings update. You can also see the leaders in every category by checking out our dedicated page.

NHRA Power Rankings are updated following the conclusion of every national event. They are based on 15 statistics -- particularly elapsed time, reaction time, 60-foot time and average mile per hour. They take into account statistics from the following six races.
