Dodge NHRA Nationals Sunday preview
The penultimate race of the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Series Countdown to the Championship concludes at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the Dodge NHRA Nationals. Just this race and the Auto Club NHRA Finals in Pomona remain for racers to earn points towards world titles.
Matt Smith took pole in Pro Stock Motorcycle, Greg Anderson will start from the top in Pro Stock, Jack Beckman is No. 1 in Funny Car and Leah Pritchett is on pole position in Top Fuel. You can see all the No. 1 qualifying runs at those links.
Racing begins in professional categories with Top Fuel at 11 a.m. Pacific Time. You can see the full weekend schedule here.
