Chicago Pro Stock results: Q3
Deric Kramer sets the pace in Q3 in Pro Stock while Alan Prusiensky bumps his way into the competitive field.
Anytime a daytime qualifying session follows a night session, odds are there won’t be much of a performance improvement from NHRA’s Pro Stock teams and that was the case on Saturday afternoon at Route 66 Raceway. Only a few drivers were able to show a significant improvement and one of them was Mopar driver Alan Prusiensky, who moved into the field with a 6.725 in his Cold Fire Dart. Prusiensky knocked second-generation rookie Fernando Cuadra Jr. from the field.
The best run of the round went to Deric Kramer in his American Ethanol Camaro with a 6.594 to move from fifth to fourth on the ladder. Kramer also earned three bonus points while Matt Hartford (6.601) and Greg Anderson (6.607) also earned qualifying bonus points.
