Auto Club NHRA Finals Sunday preview
The final race of the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Series Countdown to the Championship concludes at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona. All four titles will be decided at the Auto Club NHRA Finals and you can read up on all of the scenarios below.
Defending world champion Steve Torrence captured pole position in Top Fuel; two-time world champ Matt Hagan is No. 1 in Funny Car; Jeg Coughlin Jr. held on to pole position in Pro Stock; and defending world champion Matt Smith is on pole in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Racing begins in professional categories with Top Fuel at 11 a.m. Pacific. You can see the full weekend schedule here.
