NHRA - National Hot Rod Association

The Arby's NHRA Southern Nationals wrapped up at Atlanta Dragway Sunday and photographer Randy Anderson captured the action for NHRA National Dragster. 


Legendary crew chief and drag racer Warren Johnson got a taste of Pro Stock Motorcycle over the weekend, no doubt sharing his opinion on the action in the process. 


Wild upsets ruled the day during E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Series action. The doorslamming series, featuring wheels-up rides like the one Todd Tutterow enjoyed, saw No. 1 qualifier Stevie "Fast" Jackson eliminated in the first round. 


Paul Lee got his return to Funny Car off to a great start with an unopposed round win against Blake Alexander, who was unable to get his car started in time. 


Crew chiefs get their steps in during NHRA national events by walking up and down the drag strip to check traction. 


Nitro drivers like Austin Prock do more than drive -- they mix fuel ahead of getting into their nitro-burning machines.
